Arsenal receive boost in signing Dani Ceballos?
Arsenal have received a boost in signing Daniel Ceballos on a permanent basis from Real Madrid after the midfielder insisted that he has not held any talks with Zinedine Zidane.
In a recent interview in Spain, Ceballos was quoted as saying that he had spoken to Zidane before the turn of the year and the Spaniard assured him that he has a future at Los Blancos.
However, it appears that the report was false and the 23-year-old has not made contact with the Frenchman since joining the Gunners on loan during the 2019 summer transfer window.
"I now have a contract with Arsenal. At the moment in Madrid it is difficult to play with the players there are. I haven't spoken to Zidane since I left. I don't think Zidane talks to the loan players," he told Mundo Deportivo.
Ceballos is expected to return to the Bernabeu at the end of the season as the Gunners don't have the option to buy him. It has been previously reported that Los Blancos will demand at least £36m for his permanent sale.
