Liverpool to sell Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren?
Liverpool could reportedly listen to offers for both Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren when the transfer window reopens during the summer.
Matip was Virgil van Dijk's preferred central defensive partner at the beginning of the season before a knee injury hampered his gametime.
He has since struggled to cement a regular starting role ahead of Joe Gomez, who replaced him and it appears that he could be heading through the exit door.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Reds are likely to sanction the departure of Lovren this summer but Matip could also pursue a fresh challenge away from the club.
The Merseyside giants are currently on the hunt for a top-class centre-back to partner Van Dijk and they have recently been linked with a £60m move for Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly.
Should the Senegalese join the club, Matip could potentially become the fourth-choice centre-back in the squad and reports claim that he is likely to move on.
Matip has made 110 appearances for the European champions to date.
