Chelsea forward expected to leave the club
Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi is expected to leave the club during the summer, should Timo Werner make the switch from RB Leipzig.
The Blues are currently in advanced negotiations to sign Werner and reports claim that it is only a matter of time before the paperwork is complete.
According to Evening Standard, the arrival of Werner could pave the way for the departure of Batshuayi, who has struggled for playing time this season.
Batshuayi has struggled to cement a regular role during the course of the ongoing campaign and he is currently the third-choice striker.
Both Tammy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud have been preferred ahead of him in the Premier League, where he has made the solitary start.
West Ham United are currently leading the race to sign the Belgium international, who has bagged six goals across all competitions this term.
The Blues are said to demand a fee of around £40m for their player and it remains to be seen whether the Hammers are willing to meet the figure.
