Arsenal to sign former Manchester City star?
Arsenal could reportedly make a shock move to sign Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart with Bernd Leno potentially sidelined for the long-term.
Leno picked up a worrying knee injury during the club's 2- 1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday and there are fears that he could be out of action for the rest of the year.
In this case, the Gunners will have only Emiliano Martinez and Matt Macey as the senior goalkeeping options and neither of them have sufficient Premier League experience.
According to The Express, the Gunners may consider a fresh goalkeeper signing in the next transfer window and Hart is one of the players under consideration.
The former Manchester City star is unlikely to extend his contract with the Clarets beyond June 30 and he is set to become a free-agent at the end of the month.
Hart has not made a single league appearance for the Clarets this term and he has only featured for the club in the Cup competitions. He will leave Sean Dyche's side after managing a total of 24 outings.
