Chelsea identify two possible replacements for Kepa Arrizabalaga
Chelsea have identified two possible replacements for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga ahead of this summer's transfer window.
The Spaniard has been a regular for the Blues since the season restart, but he was disappointing in the recent 3-2 defeat to West Ham United on the road.
Over the course of the campaign, he has managed a save percentage of 55 percent and that is the worst record in the league for any keeper, who has played more than 10 games.
According to Le 10 Sport, the Blues are looking at the prospect of signing another shot-stopper with manager Frank Lampard yet to be fully convinced with the displays of Arrizabalaga.
Lille's Mike Maignan and Paris Saint-Germain's Alphonse Areola are currently the leading names on their wishlist and both of them could be available in the transfer market this summer.
Maignan, who is also a target for Tottenham Hotspur, kept 13 clean sheets from 37 appearances for Lille during the 2019/2020 season. The French side are open to listening to suitable offers for the 25-year-old.
Meanwhile, Areola has made just three appearances for Real Madrid on loan and he is due to return to Paris Saint-Germain this summer. With Keylor Navas set to remain the first-choice goalkeeper, Areola has been tipped to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.
