Inter Milan open talks to sign Chelsea defender
Inter Milan have reportedly opened talks with Chelsea to land the signature of defender Emerson Palmieri.
The Italy international has made 19 appearances for the Blues this term, but only four of those outings have come since the turn of the year.
As a result, there has been plenty of speculation over his future and Sky Italia claims that the Nerazzurri are keen on securing his services.
Antonio Conte had signed Emerson for the Blues when he was their manager and he is reportedly keen on a reunion with the defender.
It has been previously claimed that he could be available for around £25m and it remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri will meet the Blues' price tag.
Emerson is currently behind Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta in the pecking order for the left-back position under Frank Lampard.
His chances of retaining a regular role appear bleak, particularly with the Blues keen on signing another left-back ahead of next season.
