Tottenham Hotspur confident of signing Kurt Zouma
Tottenham Hotspur are increasingly confident of signing Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma in a deal worth £25m, a report from The Express claims.
The Frenchman has made 36 appearances for the west London outfit this term but he has struggled for regular starts in the backend of the season.
A recent report from L'Equipe claimed that Paris Saint-Germain have been offered the chance to sign Zouma but it appears that the French champions could face competition from Spurs.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho remains a huge admirer of Zouma since his managerial days at Chelsea and The Express claims that the Frenchman could be lured from the Blues for a fee of around £25m.
Zouma has featured in the past two league games for the Blues, having previously been left on the bench for the matches for the games against Aston Villa, Manchester City and West Ham United.
He recently came up with a superb last-ditch tackle against Crystal Palace in stoppage time which ensured that the Blues secured a 3-2 win at Selhurst Park. The result has moved Chelsea to third on the league table.
