Chelsea looking into deal for Real Madrid striker?
Chelsea are reportedly planning a summer approach to sign Luka Jovic, who has failed to impress since his move to Real Madrid.
The Serbian made a name for himself with Eintracht Frankfurt last term and that earned him a big-money switch to the Bernabeu.
However, he has failed to make any meaningful impression for Los Blancos and he has registered just two goals from 25 appearances in all competitions.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Los Blancos could be prepared to part ways with the striker after just one season following his £54m move from the Bundesliga.
Leicester City and AC Milan are said to be interested in the marksman, but the Blues could compete with the duo for his services during this summer's transfer window.
The Blues currently have Olivier Giroud, Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi as the senior strikers and they have recently added Timo Werner to the ranks after his move from RB Leipzig.
Still, there could be some changes made ahead of next season. Giroud has been constantly linked with a move to Inter Milan, where he could be reunited with manager Antonio Conte.
Meanwhile, Batshuayi appears set to be sold after falling out-of-favour under Lampard. West Ham United and Crystal Palace are said to be keen on landing his signature.
