Chelsea are prepared to demand as much as £27m in order to part ways with Emerson during this summer's transfer window.

The Blues are likely to go with the 3-4-3 formation next term and the hierarchy are already looking into a new addition for the left wing-back role.

At present, Marcos Alonso and Emerson are the players, who are specialists for the position, but the latter has barely featured since the turn of the year.

According to Tuttosport, Emerson is attracting interest from Inter Milan in the Serie A, but the Blues are unlikely to sell him on the cheap this summer.

The club want at least £27m to part ways with the former Roma man, who has made just 53 appearances since joining them in January 2018.

Nerazzurri boss Antonio Conte was responsible for signing Emerson when he was at Chelsea and it remains to be seen whether there is a reunion on the cards.

Emerson has already hinted that he would prefer a return to Italy.
