Mesut Ozil's agent speaks on Arsenal situation
The representative of Mesut Ozil had dismissed the possibility of the German leaving the club during this summer's transfer window.
Ozil was a regular under manager Mikel Arteta before the coronavirus shutdown in March, but he has failed to play a single minute since the restart.
Arteta has refused to give a clear reason behind the snub, but he has previously said that internal reasons have contributed to the axe.
Ozil still has 11 months remaining on his £350,000-a-week contract, and Dr Erkut Sogut has insisted that the attacker will honour the rest of the deal.
"I don't think Mesut will leave before the summer of 2021. He's got an ongoing contract that hasn't changed. He will stay with Arsenal," He told Fanatik.
Earlier this month, Arteta confirmed that Ozil is available after recovering from a back complaint, but he has still failed to make the matchday squad.
Alongside Ozil, Matteo Guendouzi has fallen out-of-favour after his poor behaviour at Brighton and he has been tipped to head for the exit door.
