Arsenal favourites to land Brazilian playmaker
Arsenal are reportedly favourites to land the signature of Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona during this summer's transfer window.
The Brazil international is currently on a season-long loan at Bayern Munich, but he is expected to return to the Camp Nou at the end of the campaign.
He is said to favour a return to the Premier League and RAC1 claims that the Gunners are in the driving seat to sign him on a temporary basis.
It is added that the Blaugrana would demand a fee of £10m, but they are prepared to pay 50 percent of the player's £210,000-a-week wages.
Coutinho's agent Kia Joorabchian has a close association with the Gunners' hierarchy and he has talked up a Premier League return for the attacker.
Aside from Coutinho, Joorabchian also represents Willian. The experienced forward has been tipped to sign for the Gunners on a free transfer in early August.
Willian's current deal with Chelsea expires shortly after the FA Cup final.
