Kepa Arrizabalaga decides on his Chelsea future
Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has no plans of leaving Chelsea this summer, a report from The Telegraph claims.
The 25-year-old struggled during his second season with the Blues last term and he had the worst save percentage among the Premier League goalkeepers.
Blues boss Frank Lampard is keen on signing a new shot-stopper and he has identified Rennes' Edouard Mendy as the prime transfer target.
It has been previously reported that Kepa could leave on loan with the arrival of another goalkeeper, but that does not appear the case.
The Spaniard is determined to fight for his position under Lampard and will stay with the club next season regardless of their transfer plans.
The Blues have recently failed with an opening bid of £14m for Mendy and they are expected to come up with a renewed offer for the Senegalese.
Rennes are under no pressure to sell their leading player and reports claim that the Blues may need to bid more than £30m to convince them.
