Arsenal to offload Torreira, Kolasinac to land Aouar

Arsenal are prepared to sanction the exits of Lucas Torreira and Sead Kolasinac as they aim to recoup funds for the purchase of Houssem Aouar.

Aouar has been identified as the Gunners' prime target to bolster the midfield, but they have yet to meet Lyon's £50m price tag.

The north London side have already failed with a couple of bids of £32m and £35m for Aouar and they are expected to come up with a third offer.

According to Standard Sport, the Gunners are looking to offload Kolasinac to Bayer Leverkusen and a deal worth £9m could be finalised in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Lucas Torreira is edging closer to joining Atletico Madrid. The Gunners want a permanent deal, but Atleti appear likely to sign him on loan.

The departure of the out-of-favour duo should provide the Gunners additional funds such that they can push through the transfer of Aouar.

Arsenal have signed Willian, Gabriel Magalhaes and Dani Ceballos this summer. Ceballos has joined them on a second season on loan from Real Madrid.
