Three Serie A clubs want to sign Chelsea defender

Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli could reportedly compete for the services of Emerson Palmieri when the transfer window reopens.

Emerson was made available in the transfer market during the summer, but none of the teams were willing to meet the £25m price tag.

Hence, he has been left a frustrated figure at Stamford Bridge, but Sky Italia claims that he could be on the move in January.

It is added that Juventus, Inter and Napoli are among the teams, who could compete for his signature at the turn of the year.

Chelsea were reluctant to budge on their asking price this summer, but they may change their stance in January.

Emerson's current deal expires in June 2022, but the Blues may consider offloading him at the earliest to recoup funds.

Aside from Emerson, fellow left-back Marcos Alonso has also been tipped to head through the exit door in two months' time.

Both players have dropped down the pecking order with the summer arrival of Ben Chilwell. Cesar Azpilicueta is seen as the potential back-up.
