Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reacts to Edinson Cavani's debut vs Chelsea
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was pleased with Edinson, who made his debut against Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Uruguayan was a surprise signing on a free transfer earlier this month, but he had to wait for his debut due to quarantine protocols.
Cavani started on the bench against Chelsea, but he got the opportunity to make an impression during the backend of the contest.
The 33-year-old was unable to come up with a late winner, but Solskjaer was still delighted with his movement around the box.
"He showed in glimpses. He'll give us a presence in the box. There was a nice little run towards the near post, a nice little flick," He told.
"He almost had another one when Thiago Silva had a great block - that would have been great for him."
United settled for a 0-0 draw against Chelsea on Saturday and that sees them with only seven points after the opening five games of the season.
They are scheduled to host RB Leipzig in the midweek Champions League clash before taking on Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
