Lampard pleased with Chelsea's display at Burnley

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has expressed his delight after his team secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Blues had gone into the game on a two-match winless league run, but they made lightwork of the Clarets as they scored three goals without reply.

Ziyech scored his maiden league goal for the Blues in the first half while Kurt Zouma and Timo Werner were also on the scoresheet after the break.

Speaking after the victory, Lampard described it as a complete performance and is pleased that his side have gathered momentum in recent weeks.

"It was a complete performance. This feels like a nice step forward. We're nowhere near the end of the road, but it was a really good display and a solid one too. Certainly, we have a nice bit of momentum," He told via The Mirror.

Chelsea have temporarily moved from 10th to fourth in the standings after the away win against Burnley. They are scheduled to host Rennes in the Champions League in midweek.

The west London side have registered four points from their opening two Champions League group stage games and can put themselves in a strong position to reach the round of 16 by beating Rennes.
