Liverpool planning January move for Inter Milan defender
Liverpool are reportedly planning an approach to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar during the January transfer window.
The Reds are expected to pursue a new centre-back this winter with Virgil van Dijk likely to be sidelined for the season with a serious knee injury.
In recent weeks, Schalke 04's Ozan Kabak has been linked, but ESPN reports that the Reds are also looking at Skriniar.
Skriniar has fallen down the pecking order at Inter since the backend of last season and he is no longer an undisputed choice.
He has made just two league appearances this term and reports claim that the Nerazzurri could be prepared to sell him at the right price.
He was previously valued at around £65m, but that price is likely to take a dip with his reduced gametime this season.
The Reds currently have only two fit centre-backs in Joe Gomez and Joel Matip. The latter has just returned from an injury.
