Jurgen Klopp confirms double injury boost for Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita have returned to training ahead of the Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Alexander-Arnold sustained a calf injury during the 1-1 draw against Manchester City in the first week of November while Keita picked up a hamstring problem against Leicester City a fortnight ago.
Both players have returned to training on Friday and Klopp has refused to confirm whether they will be handed gametime in Sunday's late kick-off from Anfield.
"There is a chance Naby and Trent can be in the squad, I would say. If they can play, I don’t know. Apart from Naby and Trent, nobody is coming back, no," He told via the club's official website.
Liverpool are only goal difference behind Tottenham Hotspur, who are top of the standings. Despite the injury crisis, they have lost just one of their 10 league games this term.
The Reds are scheduled to host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield on Sunday night. They have an excellent record against Wolves and have beaten them in the past seven league meetings.
