Harry Winks to leave Tottenham Hotspur next month?
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks could reportedly look for a fresh challenge in January amid his lack of playing time.
The England international has struggled for regular first-team football this term and he has been an unused substitute in recent games against Chelsea and LASK.
At present, the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Moussa Sissoko are ahead of him in the pecking order for the midfield roles and he finds himself frozen out similar to compatriot Dele Alli.
According to The Mirror, Winks is concerned that he could miss out on a spot with England at Euro 2020, suppose he continues to struggle for playing time under Jose Mourinho.
Hence, he may look for a new challenge at the turn of the year, but it is unclear whether Spurs would consider his permanent sale. He will definitely attract plenty of interest, suppose he is available in the transfer market.
Winks has made more than 150 appearances for Spurs in his career.
