Roy Keane says Manchester United can challenge Liverpool for Premier League title
Manchester United legend Roy Keane believes the Red Devils can go head-to-head with Liverpool for the Premier League title this season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have been the in-form side in the league over the past few months and they have won six of the previous seven matches.
Their away record has been superb with the perfect tally of six wins from as many matches, but the same has not been the case at Old Trafford.
They had only picked up five points from six games before the stunning 6-2 triumph over Leeds United on Sunday evening.
Despite this, the club are only five points behind leaders Liverpool with a game in hand and Keane insists they can vie for the title.
"I've been quite critical of the back four, the goalkeeper, questioning where this team is going, but the name of this game is proving people wrong. Maybe, just maybe, this group of players can do that," He told Sky Sports.
The Red Devils are scheduled to face Everton on the road in the quarter-final stage of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
