Inter Milan are reportedly exploring the option of signing Jesse Lingard on a short-term loan deal from Manchester United.

The England international has dropped down the pecking order at United over the past year and he has yet to make a Premier League appearance this term.

According to Tuttosport, Nerazzurri boss Antonio Conte is looking into a move for Lingard and believes the attacker could boost the club's title prospects.

The Serie A outfit are willing to sign him on loan with the option to buy, but any deal may be dependent on Christian Eriksen's future.

The Dane is completely out-of-favour under Conte and he has been permitted to pursue a fresh club during the ongoing transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain are deemed favourites to sign him, particularly with former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino now in charge.

Eriksen spent more than six years with Spurs and he enjoyed the best part of his career working under the guidance of Pochettino.
