The Problem At Cardiff City!

The Problem At Cardiff City!

All Cardiff City fans know there is currently a problem at Cardiff, so here's what I think the problem is and how I would fix it!

Manager - I think it's clear Bluebird fans are understandably unhappy with the team's recent performances, but specifically Neil Harris' job as The Bluebirds are hugely underachieving and the football is awful to watch, The Bluebirds board expected play-offs by Christmas. Christmas has come and gone, The Bluebirds sit in 15th place and Neil Harris still has the job. Also it seems Neil Harris is bringing the team down with him, with the likes of former loanee Filip Benkovic getting blamed for the defeat against Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park, also Josh Murphy hasn't been rated highly by The Bluebird boss in recent weeks!

The Players - As much as The Bluebirds manager takes the blame, it's fair to say the players haven't been at the top of their game, most recently the consistently poor performances from make-shift right back Leandro Bacuna, two other Curtis Nelson and Joe Bennett haven't been on the top of their game in recent weeks, since that Boxing Day boomer. Will Vaulks hasn't had the same presence in that midfield. Robert Glatzel hasn't been getting any better either, his most recent performance was probably the worst game I've seen the German striker play for The Bluebirds.

Transfer Business - The Bluebirds have been quiet in the market with no real big rumors except for Crewe right-back Perry Ng. We've lost Filip Benkovic, who never got his chance only making one appearance for The Bluebirds. We are in need of fresh faces with the form getting worse.

Injuries - It's clear to see injuries haven't helped The Bluebirds with Lee Tomlin been sidelined for a few months, and captain Sean Morrison breaking his foot doesn't help, but the biggest loss has been Kieffer Moore, the big Target Man has been a huge miss for The Bluebirds and his clinical touch has definitely been missed.

Neil Harris IN or OUT? - Personally it's time to go for Harris... He can't possibly turn this around the players have stopped playing for him and he's lost all respect for his players, he doesn't have that optimism he had a few months ago.

Things I would change - Personally I think his team selection is wrong with players like Murphy missing out every week. First off I would play Harry Wilson down the middle of the park because he's more in the game there and we need him more than anyone to get on the ball, I would think about giving the captaincy to Marlon Pack, as I don't think Sean Morrison is much of leader as Marlon Pack. Pack is another quality player, who doesn't get the recognition he deserves and the game time he deserves. I would give more chance to the youth players like: Joel Bagan, Kieron Evans, Chanka Zimba, Ollie Denham, Ntazana Mayembe and Isaak Davies, who have all played U23 football this season.

My Starting XI (every player fit)- Smithies, Osei-Tutu, Flint, Morrison, Bagan, Pack(C), Ralls, Wilson, Tomlin, Murphy, Moore.
