Predicted Manchester United lineup vs Burnley

Manchester United have the chance to leapfrog Liverpool to the top of the Premier League when they face Burnley at Turf Moor tonight.

The Red Devils are unbeaten in the past 10 league games where they have dropped just four points in the form of draws.

There are currently only goal difference behind the Reds and will be aiming to make the most of their game in hand against the Clarets.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Lineup:

David de Gea is the club's first-choice goalkeeper in the Premier League and he is expected to replace Dean Henderson, who has featured in recent Cup matches.

In the defence, Aaron Wan-Bissaka should come in for Axel Tuanzebe at right-back while Alex Telles should be replaced with Luke Shaw in the left-back position.

At the heart of the backline, Victor Lindelof should return to the mix to partner Harry Maguire. The Swede has overcome his back concern and is likely to start ahead of Eric Bailly after being rested last weekend.

In the centre of the park, Scott McTominay and Fred are expected to replace Nemanja Matic and Donny van de Beek respectively. The duo have been the preferred choices for Solskjaer when it comes to the league games.

Further forward, Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba should feature in the right and left wing positions respectively. Bruno Fernandes, who was rested for the first time in three months last weekend, is expected to start in the number 10 role.

Upfront, Anthony Martial should be guaranteed his place ahead of Edinson Cavani, who has returned from a three-game ban. The Frenchman has been in good touch in the league with two goals and three assists in the last five games.

Predicted Manchester United XI: David de Gea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Scott McTominay, Fred, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial.
