Arsenal make contact with Buendia's agent

Arsenal have reportedly made contact with the representative of Norwich City attacker Emiliano Buendia.

The Gunners are on the search for a creative midfielder this month and they have been linked with multiple names.

Buendia has been one player, who has been highlighted and Fabrizio Romano claims that the Gunners have made contact with his agent.

Still, they have yet to open a dialogue with the Canaries, who are reluctant to sell him for anything less than £40m this month.

Buendia has been hugely influential for Daniel Farke's side this term and he has bagged seven goals and seven assists from 20 appearances.

Despite the speculation, the Argentine has emphasised that he is clearly happy at the Championship outfit, who are aiming for automatic promotion.

The club are currently flying high at the top of the standings. They are seven points ahead over Swansea City, who have played a game less.

Buendia has been their second-best scorer in the league after Teemu Pukki and hence, they have placed a hefty price tag on his head.
