Alli on verge of PSG loan move?

Dele Alli appears to have moved a step closer to a six month loan deal to join Ligue 1 side Paris St Germain. The England international is desperate to play on a regular basis, and so far at Tottenham this season has been primarily resigned to substitute appearances.

PSG's newly appointed manager Mauricio Pochettino worked closely with Alli whilst in charge at Tottenham, and is a known admirer of Alli's talents.

However, current Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has no use for Alli in his team and is ready to let the player leave with a view to a permanent transfer.

It is understood that Spurs would accept a fee in the region of 50 million euros by the time the transfer window reopens in the summer, but would favour a loan deal during this January window.

Alli's potential move away appears to be close, after manager Mourinho responded to talk of a departure in a peculiar fashion, telling reporters: "Of course I would know how to answer you, but I am not ready to answer, I am not ready to make public my vision of the situation. I am sorry about that but I’m not going to answer."
