La Liga giants still interested in Arsenal forward
La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid could make an approach to sign Alexandre Lacazette from Arsenal in the summer.
The Frenchman has been a long-term target for the Spanish giants and they are reportedly monitoring his contract situation.
Diego Simeone's side recently recruited Moussa Dembele from Lyon on loan with the option for a permanent purchase.
However, they are still keeping tabs on Lacazette's position and could make a move when the current season concludes.
Lacazette has recently been in fine form with four goals from as many league games, but his future continues to remain a talking point.
His current deal expires in less than 18 months' time and Mikel Arteta has insisted that the contract talks are on hold till the summer.
There are suggestions that Lacazette has a poor relationship with Arteta and he could pursue a fresh challenge next season.
Arsenal have identified Brentford's Ivan Toney as a potential candidate to strengthen the centre-forward department in the summer.
