Koulibaly open to Man United move

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is reportedly open to joining Manchester United, should he pursue a new challenge in the summer.

The Senegal international has played for the Naples outfit since 2014, but he has been linked with an exit on numerous occasions.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be a huge admirer of Koulibaly and Marca claims that the centre-back would fancy a move to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are currently top of the Premier League standings, but their defensive performances have been questionable over the course of the campaign.

Harry Maguire remains an undisputed starter, but Solskjaer has regularly swapped between Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof to partner the England international.

Hence, they are likely to pursue another high-profile centre-back and it remains to be seen whether the club revive their long-term interest in Koulibaly.

The Senegalese was the subject of interest from the Red Devils when Jose Mourinho was the manager. Back then, Napoli rejected an offer of more than £90m for his services.
