Arsenal yet to make bid for Dutch left-back
Arsenal have yet to make a formal approach to sign Patrick Van Aanholt from Crystal Palace.
The Gunners are on the search for a new left-back, but there have little time left with the transfer window closing at 11pm tonight.
Van Aanholt had been regularly mentioned as the top target for them, but Sky Sports News claims that the club have yet to make contact with Palace.
The Netherlands international is vastly experienced at the Premier League level with more than 200 appearances to his name.
He has just five months remaining on his contract with the Eagles and talks over an extension have seemingly stalled.
It was reported that the south London outfit may be tempted to cash in on him, but as things stand, he could see out his contract.
There are still a couple of hours left before the transfer deadline and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners make a move.
Cedric Soares, who is a right-back by trade, has acted as the makeshift left-back in recent games with Kieran Tierney out injured.
Bukayo Saka and Ainsley Maitland-Niles can also play in the role, but the latter has joined West Bromwich Albion on loan for the season.
