Chelsea boss keen on landing Bayern Munich defender
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly interested in signing Niklas Sule from Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.
Sule has been in and out of the starting lineup for the European champions in recent seasons but he remains an integral part of the team.
According to Bild, Tuchel has been a long-term admirer of Sule and has urged the club's hierarchy to make a move for his signature.
Sule has played second fiddle to Jerome Boateng and David Alaba for the central defensive role, but the latter is leaving the club this summer.
Boateng's future also remains unclear with his contract expiring in June but there are suggestions that his deal may be renewed.
Bayern have recently agreed to sign Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig and the Frenchman's arrival may impact Sule's game time.
Sule is not actively looking for an exit, but reports have claimed that he could be available for £25m with only 17 months left on his contract.
