Arsenal receive big injury boost ahead of Burnley clash
Arsenal have provided a big injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners recently returned to winning ways in the league with a 3-1 comeback win against Leicester City on the road.
During that game, Emile Smith Rowe was substituted before the half-time interval with a hip problem.
Initially, Mikel Arteta expressed his concern over the attacker, but it appears that he has avoided a significant injury.
In an update provided by the Gunners, it has been revealed that the 20-year-old could be available to face the Clarets.
"Assessments and scans this week have shown that it is not a significant injury," a statement on the club's website read.
"Emile will be assessed and checked regarding his availability ahead of Saturday’s match."
Smith Rowe has been almost ever-present for the Gunners since the 3-1 win over Chelsea in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
The capital outfit are currently 10 points behind the final Champions League spot, but they have a game in hand.
