Arsenal identify two alternatives to Martin Odegaard
Arsenal have identified a couple of alternative targets, if they are unable to re-sign Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid this summer.
The Norwegian joined the Gunners on loan from Los Blancos in January, and he has made an instant impact with multiple scoring contributions.
While he has scored only twice, he has been involved in the build-up to several other goals for the north London giants.
It is not a surprise that the Gunners want to retain his services next season, but the club have a back-up plan if they fail to do so.
Real Betis' Nabil Fekir is one of the players under consideration and he could be available for around £26m later this year.
Meanwhile, Norwich City's Emiliano Buendia is a long-term target for the Gunners and he was linked prior to Odegaard's arrival.
With the Canaries destined for a top-flight return, it is reported that he could cost more than £30m in the next transfer window.
