Chelsea enter race to sign French midfielder
Chelsea have reportedly joined Manchester City in the race to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer.
Rabiot has had an impressive second season with the Bianconeri, and he has been a regular for them in the defensive midfield role.
Despite this, there are suggestions that he could be sold for the right price this summer with manager Andrea Pirlo wanting to rebuild his midfield.
Pirlo has the ambition plan of signing both Manuel Locatelli and Paul Pogba, and it is claimed that Rabiot could be sold for just €20m.
Manchester City and Barcelona have already been linked with his services, and the Blues have now entered the pursuit of the 26-year-old.
The west London side are not in desperate need for another holding midfielder with the presence of N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho.
They also have a young Billy Gilmour in reserve, but Rabiot has still been mentioned as a possible summer target for manager Thomas Tuchel.
