Luis Suarez open to sensational return to Liverpool
Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez is reportedly open to the prospect of rejoining Liverpool during this summer's transfer window.
The Uruguayan joined the club from Barcelona last summer, but he has been a huge hit with 19 goals from 32 games in all competitions.
He still has 14 months remaining on his contract, but it is claimed that he could leave the Madrid giants as early as this summer.
As per TodoFichajes, Suarez has a strained relationship with manager Diego Simeone and has become physically drained with the club's style of play.
Inter Miami, co-owned by David Beckham are keen on signing him, but Suarez is open to a reunion with the Premier League champions.
The 34-year-old netted 82 goals from 133 appearances for the Reds between 2011 and 2014 before he made the switch to the Camp Nou.
Liverpool are likely to pursue a new striker with Roberto Firmino having struggled to find the back of the net regularly.
Suarez could be a quality short-term option, but it is unclear whether the hierarchy will consider making an approach for his services.
