Belotti set for EPL move?

Manchester United and Liverpool could reportedly go head-to-head to land the signature of Torino striker Andrea Belotti this summer.

Belotti has been with Torino since 2015, and he has had another fine season with 12 goals and seven assists from 29 appearances.

His current deal with the club expires in June next year, and it is claimed that the Serie A outfit may sell him on the cheap.

He has a £86m release clause on his contract, but Torino are willing to accept as little as £21.6m to sanction his sale this summer.

According to Tuttosport, both United and Reds are keen on landing the Italy international, who is open to pursuing a fresh challenge.

United are keen on recruiting an experienced striker to replace Edinson Cavani, who is eager to return to South America.

The Reds want to freshen up things upfront, particularly with Roberto Firmino's poor scoring form this term.

Firmino has netted only six goals in all competitions this season.
