Manchester United could part ways with midfielder Paul Pogba during the summer transfer window, The Mail claims.

The Frenchman has been with the Red Devils for the past five seasons, but it is unclear whether he will stay for another campaign.

According to The Mail, the Red Devils plan to hold negotiations with Pogba over a new contract following the European Championships.

If they fail to make the breakthrough, they are expected to sell him rather than lose him for free when his contract expires in 12 months.

Pogba is reportedly demanding wages of more than £400,000-a-week, but United are unlikely to meet his salary demands.

They valued him at around £150m two years ago, but may have to sell for just £50m this summer due to his contract status.

Real Madrid are no longer interested in signing Pogba with Zinedine Zidane's exit. There is still interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

Les Parisiens are in contact with Pogba's agent Mino Raiola, and will make an approach for the midfielder if United are ready to sell.
