Arsenal open to permanent Joe Willock exit?
Arsenal are open to sanctioning the permanent departure of Joe Willock this summer, Football Insider claims.
Willock spent the second half of last season on loan with Newcastle United, where he was in sublime form.
He netted eight goals from 14 appearances. He scored in seven successive league games to end the season.
According to Football Insider, the Gunners are open to parting ways with their graduate on a permanent basis.
The Magpies are interested in re-signing him, but they will need to pay big to land his signature this summer.
Willock was valued at around £14m in January, but the Gunners could now demand as much as £30m for his services.
The Gunners are planning a major squad rebuild this summer, and they are searching for a new creative midfielder.
They have been linked with Real Betis' Nabil Fekir while Leicester City's James Maddison is also regarded as an option.
The club plan to spend £250m on signings this summer, as per 90min.
