Liverpool make Harry Wilson transfer decision

Wilson set for permanent Reds exit

Liverpool are prepared to sanction the permanent exit of Harry Wilson during the summer transfer window.

Wilson has made just two competitive appearances for the Reds, spending the past few seasons on loan.

According to Goal.com, the 24-year-old is unlikely to make his breakthrough with the first-team next season.

It is added that the club are prepared to offload him permanently if they receive an offer of around £12 million.

Brentford and West Bromwich Albion are keen on signing him while there is overseas interest from Benfica.

The Portuguese giants have made an approach to the Reds, and it remains to be seen whether Wilson considers them.

He could be playing Champions League football with them, but there lies the challenge of adapting to a different surrounding.

Wilson had an impressive loan stint with Cardiff City in the Championship last season. He bagged seven goals and 12 assists.

The Welsh outfit are keen on re-signing him, but Wilson appears reluctant to continue plying his trade in the second tier.
