Arsenal interested in Sergio Ramos?

Arsenal are interested in signing former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, Goal.com claims.
The Spaniard recently ended his 16-year association with Los Blancos after his contract expired on June 30.
He has been tipped to join Paris Saint-Germain, but Goal.com claims that there is no agreement in place.
It is added that the Gunners are keen on signing Ramos, and they want to stay updated on his situation.
The Gunners are searching for a new central defender, and they have been heavily linked with Ben White.
They are in negotiations with Brighton, but it has recently emerged that Everton could hijack the deal.
The Gunners are only willing to pay £45m. The Toffees are prepared to usurp them with a package of £50m.
Ramos remains one of the best in the business. He would provide strong leadership qualities for the Gunners.
It is unlikely that they would sign him with no European football and an improbable title challenge next season.
