Arsenal quoted price to sign Lautaro Martinez

Arsenal will need to pay around £77 million to sign Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez this summer, Tuttosport claims.

The Gunners are keen on landing a new marksman, and they are reportedly prioritising a move for the Argentina international.

According to Tuttosport, the Gunners recently proposed a part-exchange deal for the striker involving Hector Bellerin or Alexandre Lacazette.

The Nerazzurri have rejected the advances. The Serie A giants are reluctant to sell unless they receive a straight cash offer worth £77m.

Martinez had a superb 2020/21 season with Inter, bagging 19 goals and 11 assists from 48 appearances in all competitions.

While he is an integral part of the squad, they are open to sanctioning his sale for the right price amid their financial problems.

Romelu Lukaku has also been linked with a potential exit. Premier League giants Chelsea are vying to land his signature.

The Nerazzurri are determined to keep him, and prefer to sell Martinez instead to easen up their tight financial situation.
