Inter Milan set asking price for Chelsea target Romelu Lukaku

Inter set Romelu Lukaku price tag

Inter Milan are prepared to sanction the sale of Romelu Lukaku if Chelsea meet their £102 million valuation.

The Belgian has emerged as the prime striker target for the Blues, and they are keen to sign him before the new season begins.

The club recently failed with a bid of £85m plus Marcos Alonso. Inter prefer a straight-cash deal for the experienced marksman.

According to Sky Sports, the clubs are locked in transfer talks, and an agreement could be reached in the coming days.

Inter want around £102m for the striker, who bagged 30 goals last season. The Blues are likely to meet their price tag.

Chelsea are yet to make any high-profile signings this summer, but there could be frantic activity in the coming weeks.

Aside from Lukaku, the west London giants are working hard to bring defender Jules Kounde from La Liga side Sevilla.

They have also been fancied to sign a new central midfielder, but it does not appear a priority at the current point of time.
