Arsenal to swoop for Manchester City star?
Arsenal are reportedly planning a shock approach for Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva.
The Portugal international has been with the Cityzens for the past four seasons, but he is now prepared to leave them.
He was in-and-out of the line-up last season, and could struggle for game time with the recent purchase of Jack Grealish.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners are one of the clubs interested in the versatile attacker, who is looking for a way out.
They are keen on landing a creative midfielder with Premier League experience, and Silva fits the requirement.
Leicester City's James Maddison has also been linked with the north London giants. He is valued at around £70 million.
There are suggestions that Silva could be available for a lesser fee as the Cityzens may look to balance their books.
Spanish duo Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have also been linked with him, but both clubs are in tight financial positions.
