Arsenal make Rob Holding transfer decision
Arsenal have no plans of parting ways with Rob Holding during this summer's transfer window, football.london reports.
The centre-back was linked with a move to Newcastle United last summer before manager Mikel Arteta decided to keep him.
With the arrival of Ben White, he has once again been linked with a possible exit, but football.london claims that is unlikely.
Holding has three years remaining on his contract, and he is not considering a move away from the north London giants.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are also happy with the central defender, and won't entertain any offers for him this month.
Holding is currently nursing a minor injury. He may have to play a back-up role this season with White expected to start.
Arteta prefers to play with a right and left-footed centre-back. White could line up alongside Pablo Mari for the opener.
The Gunners make the trip to newly-promoted Brentford for the Premier League curtain-raiser on Friday night.
