Inter Milan to swoop for Arsenal striker?
Inter Milan have been credited with an interest in signing Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette in January.
The Frenchman has played under 50 minutes of Premier League football over seven matches this season.
He has nine months left on his contract. The club have no plans of extending his deal beyond that period.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are keen to offload Alexis Sanchez at the turn of the year.
Lacazette has been identified as a suitable replacement, but it is unclear whether they can convince the Gunners.
The striker can sign a pre-contract with a foreign club in January, but Inter prefer to sign him in the next window.
The Gunners are likely to snub advances for Lacazette as they will be missing key players due to African Cup of Nations.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe could miss the entire of January due to their competition involvement.
With Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Martinelli and Folagun Balogun still inexperienced, Lacazette is expected to lead the line.
