Tottenham Hotspur aiming to beat Arsenal to Dusan Vlahovic
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking to beat Arsenal in the pursuit of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serbian has been in fine form for the Serie A outfit over the past year. He has netted 31 goals since the start of last season.
His progress has already caught the eye of the Gunners, and it was recently claimed that they have an initial agreement with La Viola.
According to La Nazione, Spurs are also interested in landing the marksman, who could be sold during the January transfer window.
Vlahovic's current deal expires in June 2023. He has made it clear that he won't be signing an extension with the Florence club.
Spurs will reportedly need to pay around £60 million for the 21-year-old. Fiorentina are willing to accept part of the free up front.
Harry Kane and Heung-min Son could play up front in Antonio Conte's 3-5-2 set-up, but the Italian is eyeing another top striker to rotate.
Lautaro Martinez has been linked with Spurs in the past. It appears unlikely that the Nerazzurri will sell him after Romelu Lukaku's summer exit.
