Arsenal defender offered to AS Roma?
Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has reportedly been offered to AS Roma ahead of the winter transfer window.
The England international played regularly at right-back during the second half of last season, but he is no longer an assured starter.
Summer signing Takehiro Tomiyasu is now the number one choice while Cedric Soares has also been preferred ahead of him.
According to Football Italia, Chambers has been offered to the Giallorossi through intermediaries working for the Gunners.
However, manager Jose Mourinho has no desire to sign the Gunners ace. The Portuguese is prioritising a move for Diogo Dalot.
Manchester United blocked Dalot's exit over the summer as they could not land a replacement. They could deny him once again.
Chambers will soon enter the final six months of his contract, and the Gunners may look to sanction his sale in January.
Aside from Chambers, Sead Kolasinac could also be shown the exit door, having fallen down the pecking order this season.
