Zidane to Man Utd?

Manchester United have earmarked Zinedine Zidane as a potential replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the coming weeks.

The Red Devils have picked up only four points from the last six games. Solskjaer is currently under immense pressure.

The hierarchy have yet to sack him, but it could happen soon if he is not able to transform the club's Premier League fortunes.

According to The Times, the Red Devils are preparing to step up their pursuit of Zidane amid Solskjaer's uncertain future.

The club plan to convince the Frenchman to become their manager with the help of Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Varane and Ronaldo have an excellent relationship with Zidane, having worked under him at Real Madrid previously.

Varane was previously touted to join United in the summer of 2019, but he decided to reject their advances due to Zidane.

Zidane is currently not interested in returning to club management, and it remains to be seen whether United can lure him.
