Man Utd missing five players for Villarreal trip

Manchester United won't have the services of five players for the upcoming Champions League clash against Villarreal on the road.

Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane are presently injured, and they are not expected to play any part in tomorrow's European encounter.

Alongside them, Mason Greenwood is a confirmed absentee after testing positive for coronavirus in the lead-up to the Watford game.

Aside from the trio, Luke Shaw has been excluded from the squad after being substituted for concussion during the 4-1 loss to the Hornets.

Edinson Cavani has yet to recover from a tendon injury which also kept him out of international duty with Uruguay earlier this month.

The Red Devils are currently on seven points in their group. They are top of the standings with Villarreal behind them on the head-to-head.

Atalanta, who are third on the table, are two points adrift. United have their destiny in their own hands, but it could change if they lose tomorrow.
