Thomas Tuchel confirms two Chelsea players are injured
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz could miss tomorrow's Champions League meeting against Juventus.
Kovacic picked up a hamstring injury before the international break, and the Croatian has yet to be deemed fit enough to return to training.
Meanwhile, Havertz played 60 minutes of the recent win at Leicester City, but he was substituted with an apparent muscle problem.
In his press conference today, Tuchel said that the attacker could be doubtful, and it now appears that he may not face the Bianconeri.
Havertz was not spotted in the open training session. The German looks set to remain on the sidelines for the midweek European game.
The Blues are currently equal on points with Juventus in their group, but the latter are top after the 1-0 win in the reverse meeting in Turin.
They need just one point to secure progress to the last 16 of the competition. A 2-0 win would ensure them top spot in the group.
