Barcelona and Manchester City could compete for the signature of Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette next summer.

The Frenchman has entered the final year of his deal with the Gunners, and he can speak with foreign clubs in January.

Talks over a new contract have completely stalled and Fichajes claims that the striker is attracting high-profile interest.

The Blaugrana are keen on luring him to La Liga, but he could also stay in England with City boss Pep Guardiola an admirer.

The former have the edge as they can negotiate a pre-contract in January, but the striker is prepared to wait until next summer.

Inter Milan, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the 30-year-old, who is in his fifth season with the Gunners.

The north London club have not ruled out a short-term renewal, but Lacazette prefers a long-term deal with a salary hike.

Lacazette has started the last four Premier League games under Mikel Arteta.
