Barcelona likely to miss out on Chelsea defender

Barcelona are expected to miss out on Andreas Christensen with the defender ready to sign a new Chelsea contract.
The Dane has been in a contract stand-off with the Blues in recent months, and Thomas Tuchel recently admitted that the defender must 'walk the talk'.
It now appears that the west London club have made the breakthrough in negotiations, and the centre-back will soon extend his deal.
His current contract expires at the end of the season. Barca were aiming to sign him on a pre-contract, but that appears unlikely to happen.
AC Milan have also been credited with an interest. They look set to be disappointed with Christensen happy to commit his future to the Blues.
Christensen was recently out of the line-up amid his contract stand-off, but started the 3-2 league defeat to West Ham United last weekend.
He is widely expected to make the starting XI when the Blues face Zenit St Petersburg in the Champions League group stage tomorrow.
